Al-Zamalek Club issued an official statement to reveal the details and results of the Board of Directors meeting, chaired by Hussein Labib, which focused on issuing the football company and determining its most prominent tasks in the upcoming period.

Zamalek seeks to organize its affairs before the launch of the new 2026/2027 season, which will see the team competing in many championships, most notably the African Champions League and the Premier League.

The official statement of Al-Zamalek Club stated the following: "The Board of Directors of Al-Zamalek Club, chaired by Captain Hussein Labib, during its meeting today, Thursday, approved by majority to take a historic step by launching the Football Company".

It added: "This comes within the framework of a strategic vision aimed at building a new professional model for managing the football sector, in a way that achieves financial sustainability and ensures the club's stability in the long term".

It continued: "This step is unprecedented in the history of Al-Zamalek Club, and also represents a pioneering model at the level of Egyptian sports clubs, as it aims to separate the management of the football sector financially and administratively from the club, in accordance with the laws and regulatory regulations issued by the state and the Ministry of Youth and Sports".

The White Knight's statement continued: "The Football Company will manage all its obligations, activities, and financial resources independently, without burdening Al-Zamalek Club's treasury with any financial burdens related to the company, which establishes the concept of modern economic management and ensures the preservation of the club's resources and directing them in a way that serves all sectors".

It went on: "The Board of Directors decided to invite the club's General Assembly to convene (the date will be determined later), to discuss the items of establishing the Football Company and obtaining the approval of the General Assembly, in accordance with the provisions of the club's bylaws and the regulations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports".

Al-Zamalek Club's statement noted: "It was also decided to conduct the financial evaluation of the Football Company through three independent evaluation companies approved by the General Authority for Financial Supervision, in accordance with the applicable standards to determine the fair value and the company's capital".

It completed: "The Football Company will have a board of directors independent from Al-Zamalek Club's board, which will assume full responsibility for managing the company and making investment and operational decisions related to it, while Al-Zamalek Club retains its share of the company's shares, ensuring the preservation of the club's rights and strategic interests".

It indicated: "The Board of Directors affirms that this step has received great interest and support from a number of businessmen and investors belonging to Al-Zamalek Club, who have expressed their willingness to contribute to the establishment of the company and inject the necessary investments, believing in the importance of the project in building a strong economic entity worthy of the club's name".

The statement confirmed: "The Board of Directors of Al-Zamalek Club believes that the establishment of the Football Company will represent a real turning point in the club's future, by providing an independent and sustainable budget for the football sector and ending the accumulated financial crises".

It concluded: "Our goal is to create a professional environment capable of supporting sports competition and achieving financial and administrative stability for many years, in a way that fulfills the aspirations of Zamalek fans and preserves the club's position as one of the largest clubs in the region".
