Zamalek Club received today, Wednesday, a letter from the Players' Affairs Committee at the Egyptian Football Association, stating the preservation of the complaint submitted against the club by Ahmed Mustafa "Zizo", the former team player, in which he was demanding 82 million pounds without right.
The decision to preserve the complaint came to vindicate the White Castle, confirming that Zamalek Club handled this file in accordance with the legal framework, and through sound documents proving the validity of its position from the first day, especially since the club submitted to the Players' Affairs Committee all papers and documents confirming that the player received all his dues until his last day with the club, including the bonus for winning the Egypt Cup for the 2024-2025 season
Zamalek Club affirms, regarding its complaint in which it demanded its dues related to advertising revenues and television appearance rights for the player during his contract period with the club, that it will continue to take all necessary civil and criminal legal procedures to ensure it receives its financial dues resulting from television appearances and advertising materials that the player filmed.
With the issuance of the Players' Affairs Committee decision today, the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, headed by Hussein Labib, extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Kamal Shoaib, the club's legal advisor, and all members of his office, and to the club's legal sector headed by Mohamed Anani, and Sayed Mustafa, Director of the Legal Department, and Osama Abdullah and Tarek Abdel Moneim, the lawyers, for the efforts they exerted in managing this file professionally, which resulted in the decision being issued in favor of the club.
Any party has the right to appeal the decision within 10 days from the date of its issuance.
Zizo's father had said to FilGoal.com: "We were officially notified of the preservation of Zizo's complaint against Zamalek".
He added, "We will file an appeal before the Appeals Committee in preparation for referring the complaint to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in the pursuit of the player's rights".
He continued, "We are not seeking money, but we are seeking to preserve Zizo's rights".
The Players' Affairs Committee notified Zamalek of the preservation of Zizo's complaint, Al Ahly player, against the White Castle.
The committee's decision came after studying the complaint and the documents submitted by both parties before settling on preserving the complaints of both parties.
Zizo had left Zamalek after the end of his contract in the summer of 2025 and joined Al Ahly at the beginning of the past season for free.
Zizo filed a complaint with the Football Association demanding his outstanding dues from Zamalek.
Zamalek also filed a complaint against Zizo with the Football Association due to his absence from team training in his last period at the White Castle.
Zizo recently participated with the Egypt national team in reaching the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup.
Zizo participated in 4 matches with Egypt during the tournament.
Zizo has participated with Al Ahly shirt so far in 32 matches during his first season and succeeded in scoring 5 goals and assisting 10 others.
