Port Said Al-Masry Club revealed that it has filed an official complaint against Pyramids Club over Ibrahim Adel.
Ibrahim Adel
Club: Nordsjælland
Ibrahim Adel moved from Al-Masry to Assiut (currently Pyramids) in the summer of 2018.
Ayman Eid, the official spokesperson for Al-Masry Club, told FilGoal.com: "We filed a complaint against Pyramids to the Players' Affairs Committee at the Football Association, for not receiving our 20% share of the resale value of Ibrahim Adel to Emirati club Al Jazira, according to the contract concluded in 2018 with the Assiut administration (currently Pyramids)".
He added, "We tried to inquire about the player's transfer value, and it turned out to be one million two hundred and fifty thousand dollars, although Ibrahim Adel's value deserves much more. We filed the complaint after official correspondences and communications with the Pyramids administration that received no response, and that was after a year had passed since the player's transfer."
Ibrahim Adel played for Pyramids until the summer of 2025 before moving to Emirati club Al Jazira and from there to Danish club Nordsjælland.
Al-Masry also clarified that it received a response from the International Football Association "FIFA" regarding obtaining the training compensation right in Ibrahim Adel's transfer, which are dues different from the 20% resale share from his transfer to Emirati club Al Jazira.
Eid said: "FIFA responded to us confirming Al-Masry's entitlement to the training compensation percentage, and the official requirements are now being prepared to obtain the training compensation from the player's sale to Emirati club Al Jazira and then the player's sale to Danish club Nordsjælland."
Ibrahim Adel began his career in the youth sector at Al-Masry Club and joined Assiut (currently Pyramids) in the summer of 2018 when he was 17 years old.
