Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi announced the signing of Mohamed Siha, arriving from Al-Ahly Club on a one-season loan.
Al-Masry said in an official statement: "The board of directors of Al-Masry Club, headed by Kamel Abu Ali, completed the procedures to secure the services of Mohamed Ahmed Siha, goalkeeper of the first football team at Al-Ahly Club, on a one-season loan during the current summer transfer window and until the end of the next season".
He added: "The player signed his new contract with Al-Masry and underwent the medical examination after completing all procedures with Al-Ahly Club and paying the cash consideration for the sixth deal for the Port Said team during the current summer transfer window".
Al-Masry had signed Moroccan striker Abdullah Al-Ziyani from Difaa El Jadidi, Yassin Al-Mallah midfielder from Pharco, Mustafa Al-Ash defender from Al-Ahly, his teammate Mohamed Shukri left-back of the team, as well as Algerian Khair El-Din Toual from USM Alger.
Mohamed Siha is 25 years old and has previously played for Al-Mokawoloon Al-Arab and Haras El-Hodood on loan before moving last season to Al-Ahly, noting that the goalkeeper was part of the Egyptian Olympic team squad participating in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
