Al-Masry Port Said Club announced the renewal of the contract of their star player, Abderrahim Daghmoum, until the summer of 2029, following his outstanding performances with the team in previous seasons and his contribution to securing the League Cup title.
The Port Said club stated in an official press release: "The Board of Directors of Al-Masry Club, chaired by Mr. Kamel Abu Ali, has completed the procedures for renewing the contract with their Algerian star, Abderrahim Daghmoum, extending it until the end of the 2028/2029 season."
It added: "The player signed his new contract in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Moussa, a member of the club's Board of Directors and supervisor of the first team."
The statement continued: "It is worth noting that player Abderrahim Daghmoum joined Al-Masry at the beginning of the 2022/2023 season, coming from the ranks of the Algerian club ES Sétif."
It concluded: "He excelled among the Green Eagles during past seasons, attracting the attention of numerous clubs both inside and outside Egypt. However, the player's desire to remain with the Green Eagles prompted Al-Masry's management to extend his contract, which was originally set to expire at the end of the current season."
