Al Masry Club officially announced the signing of Ahmed Sami as the new team manager, succeeding Emad El-Nahas.
Al Masry Club posted on its official Facebook page: “We are pleased to welcome Captain Ahmed Sami as our new manager. Welcome to the City of the Eagles.”
Al Masry Burjeel Club had previously announced the departure of Emad El-Nahas from the team after three rounds of the Egyptian League for the current 2026-2027 season.
Al Masry Club wrote on its official Facebook account: “Thank you, Captain Emad El-Nahas, for everything you have given to the Green Eagles.”
Al Masry started its journey in the Egyptian League with a clean-sheet victory over Smouha, followed by a 3-2 win against El-Mokawloon Al-Arab.
Al Masry suffered a clean-sheet defeat to Pyramids in the previous round.
Emad El-Nahas has become the first manager to leave the Egyptian Premier League during the current 2026-2027 season, after just three rounds of the competition.
