Al-Masry Port Said Club announced its signing of Mohamed Shukri during the ongoing summer transfer window, following numerous negotiations between the two parties in recent weeks.
Al-Masry said in an official statement: "The Board of Directors of Al-Masry Club, headed by Kamel Abu Ali, completed the fourth deal to bolster the first football team ahead of the new season after signing Al-Ahly player Mohamed Shukri on a permanent transfer for four seasons starting from the current summer transfer window until the end of the 2029/2030 football season".
He added: "Al-Masry obtained the player's release from Al-Ahly Club after paying the cash consideration for the deal, then the player signed his new contract with Al-Masry".
It is worth noting that Mohamed Shukri, who plays as a left-back and is 27 years old, grew up in the youth ranks of Al-Ahly Club before moving to Ceramica Cleopatra about four seasons ago, only to return to Al-Ahly at the start of last season.
This comes ahead of the player's move to the Green Eagles during the current summer transfer window.
Al-Masry had previously concluded three deals during the current summer transfer window, having signed Moroccan striker Abdullah Al-Zayani from the new Hassani Defense team, midfielder Yassin Al-Mallah from Farco, and Al-Ahly defender Mustafa Al-Ash.
