Hossam El-Mando, the treasurer of Al-Zamalek Club, denied the claims that team player Ahmed Fatooh is absent due to demands for his outstanding dues.

Fatooh missed Al-Zamalek's last two matches due to injury.
Speaking on Al-Nahar Channel, Hossam El-Mando said: "Al-Zamalek players will never complain about outstanding dues, but they are entitled to claim them, as it is their right."
He emphasized: "It is incorrect that Fatooh is upset about outstanding dues and is missing matches due to injury. Also, the player has not demanded 50 million pounds, as is being rumored."
He revealed: "The files of player contracts with clubs must be studied and monitored carefully. If a player's contract is for 5 million pounds, yet he is set to receive 80 million from Al-Zamalek, then something is not right."
When asked if he meant that Al-Ahly's contracts are incorrect, he replied: "I have heard this, so we want to verify it and answer the question mark."
Hossam El-Mando concluded his statements: "Perhaps we will open this file in Parliament, as a supervisory body, to study it."
Al-Zamalek defeated their opponent AS Port of Djibouti 2-1 in the first leg of the preliminary round of the African Champions League.
Mohamed Shatta and Shiko Banza scored Al-Zamalek's two goals, while Mehdi Hussein scored for Port.
This match marks Al-Zamalek's first in the African Champions League since their last encounter against Al-Merrikh of Sudan in the 2023 edition.
The winner of the Al-Zamalek vs. Port tie will face the winner of the matches between Eagles of Congo and the Rwandan Army in the Round of 32.
