Mahdi Suleiman, goalkeeper of Zamalek's first football team, confirmed that the team is facing difficult circumstances.
Zamalek won 3-0 against Al-Ahly Bank in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
After the match, Mahdi Suleiman said: "I dedicate the Man of the Match award to Zamalek fans who always support us, and I thank them for their continuous backing of the team."
The Zamalek goalkeeper added: "We drew our first match against Alexandria United; we started our preparation period late under difficult conditions, which affects any team, but Zamalek is a great club."
He pointed out: "I assure the fans that we have top-level players and true men; we strive to give our best to make the fans happy and retain the league title."
He continued: "I thank everyone who supports us; my receiving today's Man of the Match award was achieved thanks to the support of my teammates."
Mahdi Suleiman earned the Man of the Match award in Zamalek's game against Alexandria United after his saves contributed to the White Knights' victory.
