Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of Al-Ahly, revealed the details of the club's sponsorship contract with Vodafone Egypt.
Al-Khatib said at the sponsorship contract signing ceremony: "Al-Ahly reached an agreement with Vodafone to obtain the sponsorship value at the dollar price".
He added, "The price is to be fixed at a certain number; if it increases, Al-Ahly gets the increase, and if it decreases, we get the agreed price without the price decreasing for us".
Regarding the stadium, he said: "I asked Mohamed Kamel, head of Al-Qalaa Al-Hamraa Company, to modify the concrete stairs in Al-Ahly Stadium to moving stairs to facilitate Al-Ahly fans who will attend the matches in the stadium".
Vodafone Company obtained the naming rights for Al-Ahly Stadium, which became named "Vodafone Stadium".
Al-Ahly Club signed the new sponsorship contract with Vodafone Company, which extends for 4 years.
Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of Al-Ahly Club, and Ayman Fathi, head of the football company at Al-Ahly, attended the signing ceremony.
And Mohamed Yehia Lotfy, chairman of the board of directors of the United Company for Sports, and Jawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports.
The value of Vodafone's sponsorship contract for Al-Ahly Club amounts to one billion and 350 million Egyptian pounds.
