A source inside the Egyptian Football Association revealed the vision that Essam Abdel Fattah put forward regarding the referees committee in the new season "2026-2027".
Essam Abdel Fattah returned to head the referees committee again after the departure of the Colombian arbitration expert Oscar Ruiz.
A source at the Football Association said in statements to "Yalla Koura" that Essam Abdel Fattah has finished developing his vision for the referees committee in the new season.
He added that Abdel Fattah decided that there would be 3 members in the referees committee so far.
The same source explained that Wajih Ahmed, Mohamed El Hanafi, and Hamdi El Qadi are among the committee members, in addition to Azab Haggag as the committee secretary.
He confirmed that there will be a meeting between Essam Abdel Fattah and the committee members after they are officially approved.
Essam Abdel Fattah had assumed the presidency of the referees committee in two previous periods, the first from 2013 to 2016, and the second from 2021 to 2022.
