Ayman El-Ramady, the technical director of Al-Ahly Bank team, expressed his astonishment at the result of his team's match against Zamalek.

Zamalek defeated Al-Ahly Bank by three goals to nil in the match held at Cairo Stadium.

Al-Ahly Bank remains without points after two rounds, sitting at the bottom of the league table.

Meanwhile, Zamalek raised their tally to 4 points, temporarily occupying second place following a draw and a win.

Ayman El-Ramady stated during the press conference: "Honestly, it was a very, very strange match. From the beginning of the first half, the players needed to show greater character in front of goal."

He added, "We wasted numerous opportunities, and ultimately lost by a large margin. This has happened to us for the second consecutive match."

He emphasized, "We need to pause and reflect to identify the cause of this dysfunction and ensure our character on the pitch becomes stronger."

When asked about the possibility of imposing sanctions on the players, he replied, "It is highly likely that penalties will be imposed on the players. The administration must play a role in this, as there is a state of indifference among the players, and we will never allow this."

He added, "Certainly, the presence of Zamalek fans was a contributing factor, but despite that, I believe we completely dominated the first half, and it was us who wasted the chances."

He revealed, "I think the players took the match lightly due to Zamalek players missing the preparation period. We warned against this, and I stressed that the opening round is not a measure of anything."

El-Ramady concluded his remarks: "The issue relates to the players losing their courage, but this is a match to forget, and we must search for the reasons behind the defeat."

The substitutes' bench decided the outcome of Zamalek's match against Al-Ahly Bank in the second round of the league competition.

Zamalek's substitutes scored the goals: Shiko Panza, Hossam Ashraf, and Ahmed Abdel Rahim "Eisho" in the second half of the match.

Zamalek will play their next match against Suez Petrojet on Monday as part of the third round competitions.

As for Al-Ahly Bank, they continue searching for their first point when they face Assiut Petroleum on Monday.
