A source within the Egyptian Football Association revealed that the crisis between Khaled El-Darndaly, the vice president of the association, and Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the national team, has not yet ended.
The source added in statements to Yallakora that El-Darndaly spoke with Hany Abo Rida regarding some matters that occurred during the trip to South Sudan.
The source added that El-Darndaly informed the EFA board that he had been ignored throughout the trip by all members of the technical staff.
The source indicated that some players were afraid to speak with El-Darndaly for fear of punishment from Hossam Hassan.
He continued: "The official page of the Egyptian Association did not mention the head of the delegation due to directives from Hossam Hassan."
He added: "Hossam Hassan wanted a statement issued by the Football Association to respond to Al Ahly in the recent crisis concerning goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy."
He completed: "El-Darndaly is demanding an apology from the twins for what they did, in addition to imposing a penalty because his name was not mentioned in many situations on the official page of the association."
