Moroccan coach Hussein Ammota, technical director of Al-Ahly's first football team, announced his squad list for the match against Smouha in the Egyptian Premier League.
Al-Ahly will host Smouha tomorrow Thursday at 8:00 PM at Cairo International Stadium in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al-Ahly's squad list is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, Hamza Alaa
Defenders: Yasser Ibrahim, Amr El-Gazar, Yassin Marei, Hady Ragab, Mohamed Hany, Karim Fouad, Ahmed Nabil Koka.
Midfielders: Ali Mahmoud, Marwan Attia, Ahmed Reda, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Hussein El-Shahat, Ahmed Zizo.
Forwards: Taher Mohamed Taher, Ashraf Bencharki, Aqtay Abdullah, Sofiane Benjdida, Monsef Boukadir.
Al-Ahly's squad list witnessed the continued absence of Imam Ashour for the third consecutive match due to lack of technical and physical readiness.
Akram Tawfik is also absent from Al-Ahly's squad against Smouha for the second consecutive match.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Magdy Afsha returned to Al-Ahly's squad after missing the previous match due to injury.
Hussein Ammota excluded Omar El-Saeed from Al-Ahly's squad as he had participated in the previous match as a substitute.
Al-Ahly had previously achieved victory against ZED with a clean double scored by Ashraf Bencharki and Taher Mohamed Taher, securing their second win in the tournament after starting their league campaign with a 3-2 victory over Sharqia Enppi.
Al-Ahly currently occupies third place in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 6 points.
