Al-Ahly's first football team is preparing to kick off the Egyptian Premier League against Sharqia Enppi, amid the absence of a large number of players from the match squad.
Cairo International Stadium will host Al-Ahly's match against Sharqia Enppi in the opening round of the Egyptian Premier League for the "2026-2027" season.
The Al-Ahly vs. Sharqia Enppi match will kick off at 8:00 PM tomorrow, Sunday.

Players Absent from Al-Ahly
A number of players are absent from Al-Ahly's squad for various reasons, ranging from technical exclusion to lack of readiness.
Among the most prominent absentees is midfield star Imam Ashour, around whom many rumors circulate regarding his future with the Red Castle.
The Red Devils also miss out on two new signings, Tawfik Mohamed and Mahmoud Salah, due to their absence from the preparation period following the late announcement of their contracts.
Ashraf Dari and Reda Slim are also absent; although they were registered in Al-Ahly's squad after no agreement was reached regarding their departure this summer, neither player participated in the team's preparation period.
