Al Ahly Club revealed in an official statement the details of the dates of the friendly matches that the team will play, in preparation for the next season.
Al Ahly announced in its statement that it will play two friendly matches against both Al-Nasr Al-Qahiri and Laviena, where the first match will be against Al-Nasr Al-Qahiri on the upcoming Thursday corresponding to July 23 of the current month.
The club said: "The first football team at the club will play two friendly matches in the first stages of preparation for the new season".
He added: "Al Ahly is scheduled to play the first friendly against Al-Nasr Club on the upcoming Thursday corresponding to July 23, while the second friendly will be against Laviena Club on July 30 of the current month".
Al-Nasr Al-Qahiri match will be the first match for the Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta, the new technical director of the Red Giant, after announcing him in a press conference in recent weeks.
The technical staff led by Amouta had granted the international players rest after the end of their participation in the 2026 World Cup, as they are scheduled to resume training on July 27, after the first upcoming friendly match.
