Al-Ahly Club announced that Karim Al-Dubais, a first-team player, has sustained an injury just days before their match against ZED in the Premier League tournament.
Al-Ahly will face ZED at 8:00 PM next Friday at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the second round matches of the Premier League tournament.
Ahmed Gaballah, the first-team doctor at Al-Ahly Club, clarified that Karim Al-Dubais suffered a hamstring strain during his participation in the previous match against Sharqia Enppi in the Premier League tournament.
Gaballah indicated in official statements that the left-back has begun implementing physiotherapy and rehabilitation program sessions to prepare him for training once he is fully fit.
Besides Al-Dubais, who returned to Al-Ahly this summer after completing his loan spell with Ceramica Cleopatra, Al-Ahly also revealed the status of the young duo Mohamed Abdullah and Ahmed Khaled Kabaka, who did not participate in the previous match against Sharqia Enppi.
Al-Ahly confirmed in its official statement that Mohamed Abdullah continued his physical rehabilitation training following an ankle pain injury, while Ahmed Khaled Kabaka is undergoing rehabilitative exercises for quadriceps muscle pain.
The Al-Ahly team resumed training tonight, Tuesday, at the Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium at the main headquarters, preparing for the match against ZED, after players were given rest following the Sharqia Enppi match that brought both teams together on Sunday evening.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly Club had defeated Sharqia Enppi by three goals to two in the match that brought both teams together at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the first round matches of the league tournament.
