Al Ahly Club has addressed the Egyptian Premier League to bring in foreign referees for the matches against Zamalek and Pyramids in the league.
Al Ahly will face their traditional rivals Zamalek in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League on October 11 at the Cairo International Stadium.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly will play against Pyramids in the ninth round of the league on November 23 at the Cairo International Stadium.
Al Ahly requests foreign referees for the matches against Zamalek and Pyramids
A source told Yalla Kora in an exclusive statement: “Al Ahly has addressed the league to bring in foreign referees for the matches against Zamalek and Pyramids.”
Esam Abdel Fattah, head of the referees committee, had previously stated that there is difficulty in assigning a Egyptian refereeing team to manage the Al Ahly vs. Zamalek match.
It is worth noting that Al Ahly is preparing to face Smouha Club next Thursday in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
