External press reports revealed that Al-Ahly Club agreed to postpone finalizing the signing deal with Monsef Bakkar, star of Croatian Dinamo Zagreb, during the current summer transfer window.
The Croatian newspaper Sportske confirmed that the Algerian striker Monsef Bakkar completed his transfer to Egyptian Al-Ahly in a deal worth a base value of approximately 3 million euros.
The report indicated that the deal's value could rise to 4 million euros through bonus clauses stipulated in the contracts between Al-Ahly and Croatian Dinamo Zagreb.
The report confirmed that the Croatian club included a clause in the Algerian striker Bakkar's transfer contract stipulating that it receives 10% of the value of any future transfer of the player after his move to Al-Ahly.
Regarding the latest details of that deal, the report indicated that Dinamo Zagreb also succeeded in agreeing with Al-Ahly to retain Monsef Bakkar until the end of the current month of July.
The report explained that Al-Ahly agreed for Monsef Bakkar to play Dinamo Zagreb's two matches against Swiss Thun in the second preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League, meaning the player's arrival to the Reds' squad will be delayed until the end of the current month of July.
Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb faces Swiss team Thun on the evening of July 21 in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League, while the return leg will be held on the 28th of the same month.
