The first-team football player of Al-Ahly Club left Cairo, heading to undergo a medical examination at his new club in the coming hours.
Al-Ahly Club is preparing to play two friendly matches in one day against Petroleum Assiut and Delphi on Wednesday, August 5, before the anticipated match against Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Cup, on Wednesday, August 19.
The Qatari Al-Kass channel revealed on its official Facebook page: "The Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane Al-Ahly Egyptian player arrives in Doha within hours to undergo a medical examination in preparation for joining Al-Shamal Club".

Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane had joined the ranks of Al-Ahly Club at the beginning of the last season 2025-2026, and scored only two goals with the Red Giant, and won only the Egyptian Super Cup title.
It is mentioned that Al-Ahly Club played two friendly matches against Cairo Nasr and Laviina and won them, the first 5-1 and the second 7-1.
