Al-Ahly Club is preparing to renew the contracts of the duo, Imam Ashour and Mohamed Hany, the team's players.
Mohamed Hany's contract extends until the end of the 2027 season, while Imam Ashour's contract continues until the 2028 season.
A source told Laila Koura: "Al-Ahly is preparing an offer for both Imam Ashour and Mohamed Hany to renew their contracts with the club in the coming period".
A source at Al-Ahly clarified: "The offer will be presented to Mohamed Hany and Imam Ashour within 48 hours, where a meeting will be held with the duo and the offer will be discussed".
Mohamed Hany and Imam Ashour have returned to Al-Ahly's collective training, after the end of the rest period they received following their participation in the World Cup with the Egyptian national team.
Some press reports had previously revealed the interest of Jeddah Union Club in contracting with Imam Ashour during the current summer transfer period.
Imam Ashour presented a remarkable level with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup, where he scored two goals.
While Mohamed Hany participated in all of Egypt's matches in the World Cup, and was one of the key elements in achieving qualification for the round of 16.
