Al Ahly club officials have settled the position of the first-team football player with the Red Castle, ahead of the launch of the new season.
Al Ahly is preparing to begin preparations for the new season under the leadership of Moroccan Hussein Ammouta, as two friendly matches have been agreed upon against Al Nasr Al Qahiri and La Viena on July 23 and 30 of this month.
A source from Al Ahly told Botolat: "Al Ahly has approached terminating its contract with its Tunisian player Mohamed El Daoui Christo after the end of his loan from Tunisian Sfaxien".
He added: "Al Ahly officials are currently negotiating to reach an agreement with Christo to terminate the contract".

Mohamed El Daoui Christo had joined the ranks of Al Ahly in the January 2023 transfers, coming from the Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel, with a contract lasting 4 and a half years. Tunisian Sfaxien club had signed Al Ahly player Mohamed El Daoui Christo at the beginning of last season for one season on loan.
