Officials of the Egyptian Port Said Club, headed by Kamel Abu Ali, have obtained the green light from the administration of Al Ahly Club, in order to negotiate with the team's striker Mohamed Sherif, to include him during the current summer transfer period.
A source revealed, in exclusive statements to "Yalla Koura", that Al Masry Club obtained Al Ahly's approval to start negotiations with Mohamed Sherif (30 years old) regarding the transfer to the Port Said team's ranks.
Al Masry Club's moves come to support the forward line, based on the request of coach Emad El-Nahhas, who stressed the necessity of contracting with Al Ahly's striker, whose contract with the "Red Castle" extends until the summer of 2030.
Al Ahly Club officials do not mind Mohamed Sherif's departure, in light of the offensive deals concluded by the red administration, after contracting with Oktay Abdullah, coming from Enppi Club, in addition to its approaching the signing of the Algerian striker and Dynamo Zagreb player, Mounsef Bekrar.
Al Ahly's administration is also intensifying its negotiations with Maghreb Fes Club, to include the Moroccan team's top scorer Soufiane Benjdida, during the current summer transfer period, according to sources to "Yalla Koura".
Mohamed Sherif had returned to Al Ahly's ranks last summer, in a free transfer deal, after the end of his contract with Saudi Al-Khaleej Club.
Mohamed Sherif participated in 20 matches in various competitions during the past season, during which he scored three goals and made one assist, according to the global "Transfermarkt" website.
