Al Ahly club has finalized its fourth deal during the current summer transfer window, after signing the trio Aqtai Abdullah, Ali Mahmoud and Sofiane Ben Jedida.
Al Ahly club continues to bolster its ranks in order to return to the podiums of titles in the new season, after ending the past season empty-handed without any trophy.
A source from Al Ahly told Botolat: "The Algerian player Monsef Bekkar has completed the signing with Al Ahly and the contracts were signed in the presence of the contracts director Issam Siraj El-Din".
He indicated that the player will be in Cairo to join Al Ahly's training sessions, following the conclusion of his Croatian team Dynamo Zagreb's two matches in the UEFA Champions League, with the first match today the 21st and the second on July 27.
The player participated with Dynamo Zagreb in 42 matches across various competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists, and on the international level he wore the Algerian national team jersey in 7 matches, scoring two goals.

Bekkar began his career with Wifak Setif, before moving to the Croatian league via Istra club in 2022, then had a stint in the American league with New York City in 2023, before deciding to return to Croatia via Dynamo Zagreb last summer.
