Al Ahly Club has completed its agreement with the Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb to sign Mounsef Bacar, the team's striker, during the summer transfer period.

Yalla Koura learned that Al Ahly reached a final agreement with Dinamo Zagreb regarding the signing of Bacar for 2.5 million dollars, in addition to 500 thousand dollars in other privileges.

A source inside Al Ahly clarified that what remains is signing the contracts between the two parties and announcing the deal.

Al Ahly had expressed interest in signing Bacar during the past winter transfer period, but the deal was not strongly on the table at the time, whereas now it has become more serious.

The Algerian player joined Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2025, coming from New York City in the United States for one million euros, and his current contract runs until June 2028.

Al Ahly is seeking to sign a new striker during the summer transfer period, especially after the departure of Ylisen Kamwish and the lack of stability regarding the future of Nyets Gradishar with the team.

Al Ahly has in its squad both Mohamed Sherif and Gradishar, who has returned from loan, as strikers for the new season, but their staying remains uncertain so far.

It is worth noting that the Moroccan Hussein Amouta assumed the coaching of Al Ahly at the beginning of the upcoming season, succeeding the Dane Jess Thorup.
