The technical staff of Al Ahly Club's first football team, led by Hussein Amouta, has settled on the date for the return of the international players to the team's collective training sessions, in preparation for the upcoming football season.
The international players returned to Cairo after participating with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup, in which the Pharaohs delivered an exceptional performance and advanced to the round of 16 for the first time in history.
Al Ahly Club announced via its official website that the technical staff decided the return of the international players to training on Monday, July 27 of the current month, following the end of the vacation they received after participating with the Egyptian national team.

It is worth noting that the international players are: "Mohamed El Shenawy – Mustafa Shobier – Mohamed Hany – Emam Ashour – Marwan Attia – Yasser Ibrahim – Ahmed El Sayed Zizo".
It is noteworthy that Al Ahly Club has announced several changes on the administrative and technical fronts, most notably the appointment of Wael Gomaa as football director and expressing thanks to Walid Salah El Din, in addition to Essam Sarag El Din assuming the position of director of contracts.
