Al Ahly TV channel sent a strong message to Mohamed Hany and Yasser Ibrahim, the two first-team players, regarding the renewal of their contracts with the Red Devils.
Al Ahly is currently negotiating with Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany to renew their contracts, as their current deals expire at the end of this season.
The channel stated on its flagship program, "Here Al Ahly": "Mohamed Hany and Yasser Ibrahim are senior players who have worked hard for Al Ahly. They have established significant reputations with the club, and the fans respect this duo."
It added: "Both are doing what they believe is in their best interest... They have given a lot to Al Ahly and continue to contribute, but the fairness of contract renewals at Al Ahly applies to everyone... No player will exceed the new salary cap at Al Ahly."
It continued: "Based on the principle of contracts and the figures offered to players, no player will receive a value different from his teammates, and the offers presented to the duo will not be improved."
It concluded: "No additional bonuses, no extra amounts, not even one pound more... If you are present and continuing, this is the only offer, there is no other... You either renew completely or you do not renew completely."
The channel relayed statements from Wael Gomaa, Al Ahly's Director of Football, noting: "He said he wanted to thank Emam Ashour, the team's player, who agreed to hold renewal sessions with him. It was said that he would tire him out due to his demands, but this did not happen."
It went on: "Wael Gomaa requested to convey a message of thanks through him to Emam Ashour, because he handled the renewal session with utmost simplicity, which proved to be very fruitful."
Al Ahly TV concluded: "Wael Gomaa said he believed that renewal negotiations with Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany would be close, but it is their right to make the decision that suits them."
