Al-Ahly's first team began its preparations for the match against ZED, scheduled as part of the Egyptian Premier League competitions, following a rest period from training after their victory over Sharqia Enppi.
Al-Ahly will face ZED at 8:00 PM next Friday at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the second round fixtures of the Egyptian Premier League.
The Al-Ahly squad resumed training this evening, Tuesday, at the Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium located at the club's headquarters, in preparation for the ZED match, after the players enjoyed a 24-hour rest following the Sharqia Enppi game.
Moroccan coach Hossam El-Badry held a brief lecture for the players before starting the physical training session supervised by Brazilian Renato, the fitness load planner.
Afterward, the players performed several specialized drills, followed by an intense practice match organized by the technical staff in light of preparations for the upcoming fixture against ZED, while the goalkeepers underwent varied training sessions under the supervision of Dutch goalkeeper coach Joey Pruijer.
Previously, Al-Ahly defeated Sharqia Enppi with a scoreline of three goals to two in the match that brought both teams together last Sunday evening at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the first round fixtures of the Egyptian Premier League.
