Ashraf Nassar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ahly Bank Club, revealed his position on reports of the departure of the team's technical director Ayman Al-Ramadi to coach Egypt's Olympic national team.
The Egyptian Football Association continues its search for a new technical director for the Egyptian Olympic team to compete in the Africa Cup of Nations under 23 in Egypt, which qualifies for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
Nassar said during statements on "Ten" channel for the program "Al Primo": "Ayman Al-Ramadi is continuing with Al Ahly Bank and is bound to us by a contract".
He added: "But if we receive an official request from the Football Association for him to take on the task of the Egyptian national team, we will not delay any of Egypt's national teams; the interests of the national teams have priority with us".
