Al-Ahly Club has officially announced the renewal of Omar Sayed Moawad's contract with the team.
Omar Moawad signed the new contract with Al-Ahly, which extends until 2030.
Omar Moawad is the third player whose contract renewal Al-Ahly has announced recently, following Imam Ashour and Marwan Atia.
Omar Moawad is one of the graduates of Al-Ahly's youth academy. He is the son of Sayed Moawad, a former star of both Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team.
The winger was close to transferring to Spanish club Real Betis but suffered two ACL knee injuries.
Al-Ahly is preparing to face Smouha in the Egyptian Premier League next Thursday, as part of the third round of the competition.
