Al-Ahly confirmed the extension of Taher Mohamed Taher's contract for two years to continue his career with the team, after the total duration of his current contract became three seasons.
The contract extension came after the meeting that brought the player together with Wael Gomaa, the club's football director, and Essam Sarageldin, head of the contracts sector, where all the terms of the new contract were agreed upon, and all administrative and financial procedures were completed.
Al-Ahly indicated in its statement that Taher Mohamed Taher expressed his happiness with the extension of his contract, affirming his appreciation for the club and Al-Ahly fans, to whom he owes a lot, and that he will do his utmost with his teammates to please the fans and achieve the championships and victories that befit the club.
Taher Mohamed Taher played a total of 213 matches with Al-Ahly, scoring 26 goals and assisting 27 others, according to Transfermarkt.
