Al-Ahly Club announced the extension of midfielder Marwan Atia's contract until 2030.
In an official statement, Al-Ahly said: "Marwan Atia, a player of the first football team, has extended his contract with the club until 2030."
It added: "This took place during a meeting held this evening with Dr. Essam Siraj El-Din, Head of the Contracts Sector, who completed all administrative and financial procedures in full coordination with Captain Wael Gomaa, the Football Director."
The statement concluded: "The player expressed his great happiness at extending his contract and continuing his journey with Al-Ahly and its fans in the coming years."
Recently, the Red Team had announced the extension of midfielder Imam Ashour's contract until 2030 as well, while still working on renewing the contracts of other players, such as Mostafa Shobeir, Yasser Ibrahim, and Mohamed Hany.
