Al Ahly Club announced Ahmed Abdeen's departure to the ranks of Wadi Degla.

The yellow-and-black club has not yet disclosed the contract length or the deal value.
The 20-year-old defender began his career with Wadi Degla's youth sides and joined Al Ahly's youth team in 2021.
Abdeen will thus be Degla's fourth signing for the new season after Mohamed Fathi, Mahmoud Abdel Halim "Halimo" and Mohamed Suleiman.

The club approved the transfer of its rising player Ahmed Abdeen to the ranks of Wadi Degla Club after negotiations between the two parties. Essam Serag El-Din, head of the contracts department, completed all administrative and financial procedures.
This came in response to the player's wish to secure more opportunities to play in official matches and gain further experience, especially as he is a promising talent with outstanding abilities in the centre-back position.
Abdeen thanked the club as one of Al Ahly's own sons and pledged to double his efforts in the coming period, return to Al Ahly's ranks once more, and join his teammates in delighting the fans at both domestic and continental level.

The Egypt U-20 international had previously been loaned out twice to Ceramica Cleopatra.
Abdeen made only 4 appearances for Al Ahly and 6 for Ceramica Cleopatra.
The 20-year-old featured as Egypt U-20 finished fourth at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
He was also in the Egypt squad that exited the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in the group stage and scored a goal against Chile.
