Al-Ahly Club announced that Al-Ahly Football Company has completed all agreements with Spanish club Barcelona during the visit made by the company's delegation to the city of Barcelona.
Al-Ahly clarified, through an official statement, that the delegation included Ahmed Hossam Awad, a member of the company's board of directors, and Amr Shaheen, the executive director, as they held several meetings with officials of the Catalan club, during which all arrangements for holding the friendly match between the two teams on August 19 next for the Gamper Cup in its 61st edition were completed.
The statement indicated that the delegation met with Barcelona officials, including Communications Director Gabriel Martinez, and Strategic Projects President Marina Ives, along with Mohamed Talaat and Karim Talaat, to discuss all details related to the match.
Al-Ahly confirmed that the meetings were held in a friendly atmosphere reflecting the strength of the relations between the two clubs, noting that this step comes within the efforts of the football company to enhance cooperation with major clubs and sports institutions in Europe, and to open new horizons for future partnerships.
