Egyptian and African football fans are anticipating the start of the next edition of the African Confederation Cup, which features the participation of a number of previous champions of the competition.
The Egyptian Football Association, headed by Hani Abu Rida, specified this evening, Sunday, the teams that qualified to participate in the two African championships next season, where Al-Ahly is with Z in the Confederation Cup, while Zamalek participates with Pyramids in the African Champions League.

The Confederation Championship next season also includes the Libyan Al-Ahly Tripoli team, led by the Egyptian coach, Hossam El-Badry, who strengthened its ranks strongly during the current summer transfer period with several distinguished deals.
In addition to Al-Ahly, which won the African Confederation Cup in 2014, there are a number of previous champions of the tournament, including the Moroccan Raja, as well as the Tunisian Sfaxien, who, along with the Moroccan Nahdet Berkane, are the most teams to have won the title.
It is worth noting that the Algerian Union of the Capital club is the holder of the title of the last edition of the African Confederation Cup Championship, after winning the competition at the expense of Zamalek in the final round.
