The Saudi Al-Ahli Football Club Company announced its approval of the resignation of Khaled Al-Ghamdi, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors, thanking him for the efforts he exerted during his presidency period.
Khaled Al-Ghamdi had officially announced his resignation from his position, after a career spanning three years that witnessed numerous achievements and titles.

Saudi reports had earlier revealed that Khaled Al-Ghamdi wishes to enter the Saudi Football Federation elections for the position of president, and therefore submitted his resignation from the presidency of Al-Ahli Club.

The Al-Ahli Football Club Company confirmed that the successes achieved during the past period came as a result of integrated institutional work, praising the role played by Khaled Al-Ghamdi in supporting the club and achieving numerous accomplishments.
Khaled Al-Ghamdi's presidency period extended from the 2023-2024 season until 2025-2026, during which the club witnessed many major achievements, most notably winning two Asian titles in the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 seasons, in addition to winning the Saudi Super Cup 2025.
