The statement from Al-Raqi added: "Dams participated with the team in several local and continental competitions during the past period and was part of the squad that won the AFC Champions League Elite title for the 2025-2026 season, as well as the 2025 Saudi Super Cup."
It concluded: "Al-Ahli Club Company expressed its gratitude to Matteo Dams for the period he spent with the team, wishing him success in his next step with Club Brugge."
