Al-Ahly Club is preparing for its second match in the Premier League tournament, as it faces ZED on Friday evening, within the competitions of the second round of the league.
Al-Ahly enters the match with high morale following an exciting 3-2 victory over Enppi in the first round, after overturning a two-goal deficit to secure a win. Meanwhile, ZED seeks to achieve its first league victory after drawing goalless with Wadi Degla in the opening round.
Hussein Ammouta, Al-Ahly's head coach, hopes to lead the team to a second consecutive victory and continue chasing the clubs that achieved full points in the first two rounds: Pyramids, Tala'ea El Gaish, and Al-Masry.
Al-Ahly's squad list for the match witnessed the return of Yassin Marei to the defensive line after completing his suspension, alongside Ahmed Reda and Omar El-Saei. Meanwhile, Imam Ashour remains absent due to lack of technical and physical readiness. Mohamed Magdy Afsha is also sidelined due to injury, along with Akram Tawfik and Tawfik Mohamed.
Ammouta held a technical lecture for Al-Ahly players before yesterday's training session, during which he explained several tactical and technical aspects in preparation for the match against ZED.
