Ahmed Yasser, the former Al-Masry Port Said player, delivered a strong message to the Brazilian Juan Becerra, a Zamalek SC player, following his recent crisis with the club.
Ahmed Yasser stated in an interview on "On Sport" channel: "Becerra was at a modest club before joining Zamalek; the Ukrainian league is unranked, and he was previously at a modest Brazilian club."

He added: "It was Zamalek that polished Becerra's image and boosted his market value. I urge both Al-Ahly and Zamalek fans not to idolize individuals but to love their clubs instead. There is no true loyalty; all players are motivated by financial compensation."
He continued: "Becerra used to pretend loyalty to Zamalek fans by kissing the jersey and the club emblem. Wissam Abou Ali resembles Becerra; it was Al-Ahly that elevated his status before he departed to America. I hope Becerra never plays for Zamalek again."
