Ahmed Suleiman, a member of the Zamalek Club Board of Directors, announced his submission of an official memorandum during the next board meeting, which includes a number of proposals for establishing the Zamalek Club Football Company.
Ahmed Suleiman stressed the necessity of preserving the club's rights and its historical identity.
Ahmed Suleiman emphasized his full approval of establishing the football company, considering it an investment step that has been long delayed, while insisting on keeping the controlling stake in the company's shares in the hands of Zamalek Club to ensure control over the decision and preserve the entity's identity.
He called for presenting the entire file for discussion and listening to all opinions, along with presenting the financial evaluation prepared by specialized companies to know the true value of the company and the shares before voting.
He also confirmed that in the event of settling on transferring the controlling stake to the investor, the matter must be presented to an extraordinary general assembly, with the voting being direct and secret, to ensure the freedom of club members to express their opinions regarding the decision.
Zamalek Club announced yesterday, Friday, achieving a major breakthrough in the football academies system in less than two years, after the number of branches inside Egypt increased from one branch in 2024 to 28 branches currently.
Zamalek explained in an official statement that this expansion comes within the strategy of the Board of Directors headed by Hussein Labib, and in coordination with Engineer Ziad Al-Baroudi, Director of the club's academies, with the aim of enhancing the spread of the club's name and maximizing its resources inside and outside Egypt.
The club indicated the continuation of local expansion through contracting new branches, in preparation for the spread of Zamalek academies in various governorates of the republic in the coming period.
