Ahmed Kashry, the new technical director of Ismaily Club, commented on assuming leadership of the team during the current period in the Second Division League.
Currently, Ismaily Club is competing in the Professional League (Egyptian Second Division) after being relegated from the Premier League last season.
Ahmed Kashry took charge of Ismaily following Ashraf Khedr's resignation, after the team suffered two defeats in the first two rounds of the Second Division League tournament.
He said Ahmed Kashry during statements to the program "Malab ON" broadcast on "ON Sport" channel: "It's a difficult mission, but Ismaily is one of the best clubs in Egypt after Al-Ahly and Zamalek. It's a great club with a massive fan base. When they approached me, I didn't hesitate, and we will try to restore it to its former glory and top status."
He added: "All Egyptian fans love Ismaily Club. When the board spoke with me, I told them I wanted to help Ismaily, and I didn't discuss any difficult details with them."

He continued: "We have young players who are sons of the club but lack significant experience. Reinforcements in January will make a big difference because the number of players currently on our roster isn't large. We have confidence in the group we have at present."
He concluded: "We will wait until next January because without support, things will be difficult. We await the opening of the registration window for Ismaily, which will be the lifeline for the team."
