Ahmed Diab commented on his victory in the presidency of the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association, for the sixth consecutive time, after the elections for the board of directors of the First Division Clubs Association were held today, Monday, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association, in the presence of representatives of the participating clubs, and Engineer Hani Abu Rida, President of the Football Association.
Diab expressed his happiness at renewing the trust by being elected president of the Clubs Association, confirming that this trust represents an incentive to continue working with all clubs in order to develop the competition and elevate Egyptian football.
Diab wrote on his social media account "Facebook": "Praise be to God.. A new beginning with great confidence, happy to renew the trust by electing me president of the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association for the 2026/2027 season."
He added: "This trust represents an incentive to continue working with all clubs and partners to develop the competition, elevate Egyptian football, and build on what was achieved during the past period."

The head of the Clubs Association concluded his speech by saying: "Thank you to everyone who gave me their trust.. and I promise more work and achievement."
It is worth noting that the new board of directors of the Clubs Association includes Ahmed Diab as president of the association and membership of Ibrahim Al-Kafrawi, Khaled Refaat, Khaled Shukri, and Mohamed Shaaban Al-Khouli.
