Ahmed Al-Ahmar, the handball legend at Zamalek Club and the Egyptian national team, spoke about the reasons for joining the ranks of Al-Ahly Bank during the current transfers.
Al-Ahmar wrote on Instagram: "First of all, I'd like to thank Al-Ahly Bank Club for my joining them and their trust in me and that they want to make a respectable project and reach a better place and provide all the capabilities to reach that goal".
He added: "I really liked the project and I'm honored to be part of it for two reasons: the first reason is that the team has a goal to be in a better position and the second is that I will enjoy and play without any pressures from what I went through in the last 3 years".
He continued: "Because I love handball very much and I really still want to satisfy many people who don't understand it, so I wanted to explain that and the matter is also far from material things, and without explanation because this is something personal to me".
He went on: "In the end, Club Zamalek remains my home where I grew up and where I consider myself a part of it and it is everything to me, and nothing will ever affect my feeling towards the home where I grew up all my life".
He concluded: "Zamalek Club has always been big and will remain big with its sons and its fans and everyone who loves it".
