Liverpool FC has made a decision regarding the possibility of signing player Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in the current summer transfer window.
Liverpool has been linked with the possibility of signing Barcola to succeed Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who left Anfield on June 30, putting the club in a difficult position to find a suitable replacement for him.
Paris Saint-Germain offered Barcola a contract renewal, but the French player refused, not for financial reasons but for sporting ones, as he had grown accustomed to being a substitute at Parc des Princes stadium.
Press reports on Sunday stated that Paris Saint-Germain does not intend to let Barcola go for less than 170 million euros.
According to renowned journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Liverpool does want to sign Barcola but is unwilling to pay the aforementioned amount, having valued him lower.
He clarified that there are currently no negotiations between Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, noting that Barcola's departure this summer has not been definitively decided yet.
