Saudi club Al-Ahli has reached a final agreement with Al-Fateh's management to sign player Saeed Baatya this summer in order to strengthen the right flank.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadh," Al-Ahli's company has begun the transfer procedures for Saeed Baatya, the Al-Fateh player, after he passed the medical examinations.
The signing of Baatya comes to bolster the right flank amid the challenges facing Al-Raqi this season, both domestically and continentally.
Al-Ahli made amends with its fans after defeating Al-Riyadh by five goals without reply in a match held in Jeddah as part of the fifth round of the Saudi Roshn League.
Al-Ahli had suffered defeats in their last two matches: a 3-1 loss to Al-Kholood and a 3-0 defeat against Al-Hilal.
After playing five matches, Al-Ahli currently sits in seventh place with 9 points, while Al-Hilal leads the standings with a perfect record of 15 points.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahli faces a tough challenge when they meet Al-Qadsiah on September 8th in the sixth round of the league.
