The Egyptian winger Haitham Hassan, Real Oviedo's Spanish player, has entered the circle of interest of the Turkish club Trabzonspor, amid the club's desire to bolster its attacking ranks during the current summer transfer window.

According to what the Turkish website "takagazete" revealed, Trabzonspor is seeking offensive reinforcements, and recently Haitham Hassan's name has returned to appear on the list of candidates after earlier interest in him.

Trabzonspor has become prepared to enter the competition to sign the 24-year-old player, who is also wanted by French club Olympique Marseille and Scottish club Celtic.

The report pointed out that Haitham Hassan's contract with Oviedo includes a penalty clause worth 10 million euros, which may pose an obstacle to completing the deal given the Spanish club's insistence on receiving this amount.

Trabzonspor's interest in signing Haitham Hassan comes after recent reports indicated that Mohamed Salah, captain of the Egyptian national team, is a target for another Turkish league club, Beşiktaş, and his name was also previously linked with Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe.

It is worth noting that Haitham Hassan's contract with Oviedo runs until June 2027, i.e., until the end of next season.

Haitham Hassan created 3 goals in 38 matches with Valladolid last season, which ended with their relegation to the Spanish Segunda División after one season in the Primera División.
