FIFA has filed a new case against Zamalek Club, one of the cases that led to the suspension of its registration.
FIFA filed the case of Belgian Yannick Ferreira after the officials of the White Castle succeeded in resolving the crisis of the dues owed to Zamalek's former technical director.
Zamalek continues to resolve the cases that led to the registration ban imposed by FIFA.
The Belgian took charge of Zamalek last summer before being dismissed in November of this year.
FIFA fined Zamalek Club $160,000 in favor of Ferreira.
Zamalek's management had previously reached a settlement with the Belgian coach to receive only half of his dues instead of the remaining amount of his contract.
However, Zamalek failed to secure the settlement funds.
Zamalek had previously succeeded in resolving the cases of Palestinian player Omar Faraj, the team's former player, and Yugoslav goalkeepers coach Lazic.
It also previously succeeded in resolving the cases of the assistants to Portuguese José Gomes, the team's former technical director, namely Luis Vicente, Joao Miguel, and Andrei Bikey, in addition to settling the dues of Beninese player Samson Akinyoola, the team's former player, and Swiss coach Christian Gross, the former technical director.
Zamalek also succeeded in settling the dues of Belgian club Charleroi related to the deal for Palestinian player Adi Al-Dabbagh, in addition to resolving the crisis of Tunisian Ahmed Jafali and the dues case of Portuguese club Estrela da Amadora related to the deal for Angolan player Chico Banza.
Zamalek is attempting to resolve the cases and obtain the African license to participate in the next edition of the CAF Champions League.
Zamalek also holds on to the possibility of suspending the unconditional registration ban penalty upon payment (disciplinary registration ban).
