Chelsea FC announced reaching a settlement agreement with the European Football Association "UEFA" and the English League.
Chelsea reported violations in 2022 related to secret payments and breaches of the regulations on agents and intermediaries during the tenure of former owner Roman Abramovich.
Chelsea revealed in an official statement today: "Chelsea Football Club is pleased to confirm that a final decision has been reached by the judicial bodies of the English Football Association regarding the historical regulatory matters self-reported by the club."
It added: "In 2022, the club self-reported potential previous rule violations to all relevant regulatory authorities. Subsequently, the club worked with transparency and openness with all regulatory bodies, including the voluntary and proactive disclosure of thousands of documents."
It further stated: "As previously announced, settlement agreements were reached with UEFA and the English Premier League regarding the same self-reported regulatory matters and issues previously addressed."
Chelsea's statement continued: "The club is pleased to confirm that with the conclusion of the English Football Association proceedings, all regulatory actions against the club are thereby closed."
Chelsea concluded: "We are grateful to UEFA, the English Premier League, and the English Football Association for their cooperation with the club throughout these processes."
The English Association had imposed a financial penalty of £10 million, in addition to a transfer ban for two transfer windows with suspended enforcement.
Charges of 74 violations were also brought against Chelsea FC after the current administration reported misconduct at the time of purchasing the club.
