The features of the future of Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudryk, Chelsea winger, began to become clear after the end of his suspension crisis, as the player received several offers from English and European clubs.
Mudryk became available to participate again after the procedures of the doping-related case were completed, following the reduction of the suspension that was supposed to last 4 years.
The 25-year-old player returned to Chelsea's ranks, joining the team's preparatory camp under the leadership of coach Xabi Alonso, at a time when the London club's management is studying the best option regarding his future before the start of the new season.
According to the British newspaper "The Sun", Alonso has not yet made his final decision on Mudryk's continuation, describing him as a "special player", but confirming that all options remain on the table, whether keeping him, loaning him out, or even selling him.
The newspaper pointed out that Coventry City, led by former Chelsea coach Frank Lampard, is the most interested club in signing Mudryk, especially after the relationship that connected the English coach with the player during his previous stint at the "Blues".
Several other clubs in the English Premier League and 3 undisclosed European clubs have also expressed interest in acquiring the services of the Ukrainian winger.
Mudryk had been absent from matches since December 2024 after the presence of the substance "meldonium" was proven in one of his samples, but he denied throughout the past period deliberately taking any banned substance.
According to reports, an update in the testing procedures at the World Anti-Doping Agency contributed to closing the case and reducing the suspension, after the method of evaluating such cases became different from what it was when the file was opened.
