FIFA announced the reduction of registration suspension cases against Zamalek to 9.

Ferjani Sassi

Club: Al-Gharafa

This came after the withdrawal of Ferjani Sassi's case following his approval of the settlement offered to him by the club.

Thus, the number of cases filed against Zamalek causing the registration ban has been reduced to 9.

A source from Zamalek had revealed to FilGoal.com: "After Tarek Hamed's intervention, Ferjani Sassi waives 200 thousand dollars of his dues".

FIFA had previously announced the suspension of Zamalek from registration in a new case dated December 3, 2025.

Zamalek was subjected to a disciplinary registration suspension for two periods due to unilateral termination of contract with more than one player.

"The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club extends its sincere thanks to the Tunisian Ferjani Sassi, the former player of the team, in appreciation of his cooperation in the file of his financial dues owed to Zamalek".

"The club's board of directors appreciates Ferjani Sassi's approval to schedule his dues, in addition to his waiver of part of them, in a step that reflects his great appreciation for Zamalek Club and its fans and his keenness to support the club's stability during the current stage".

"The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club affirms its pride in the good relationship that binds it with the player, wishing him continued success and success in his football career".
